Requirements for Getting a Real Estate License in Arizona
While a college degree is not required to get your real estate license in Arizona, you will have to meet other requirements. To become a Real Estate Salesperson in the state, you'll need to:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Complete the Real Estate Salesperson pre-licensing education (90 hours) through an approved real estate school in Arizona.
- Pass the course exam to get your pre-license education certificate.
- Obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Submit the Disciplinary Actions Disclosure Form.
- Attend a six-hour Contract Writing Class and obtain a certificate.
- Pay the required fees.
- Pass the Arizona Real Estate Exam at a testing center in Flagstaff, Phoenix, Tucson, or Yuma.
Note, you must submit your application for a Salesperson License within one year of the date you passed the state examination.

If you are coming from another state and want to get a real estate license in Arizona, you will need to: Be a resident of Arizona. Have a real estate license in another state that you have held for at least one year. Have completed eligible real estate courses in another state. Have passed the state real estate exam in another state.
