TRECS is a Knoxville-based real estate school that does both in-person and real estate courses. Their in-person course is two weeks long and is available both day and night. A new session starts every month. They do have an online course available as well. TRECS is the oldest real estate school in Knoxville and is accredited by the TREC.
The Tennessee Real Estate and Computer School had 566 students take their classroom course in 2019 with an 80% pass rate on the state exam.
3. Tennessee Real Estate Educational Systems, Inc (TREES)
TREES is the oldest real estate license school in the state of Tennessee, dating back to 1975. They have branches in Chattanooga, Knoxville, Murfreesboro, Nashville, and Sevierville. TREES also has the option of home study with printed materials and online courses. Their classroom courses are taught by TREC-approved broker instructors over either 10 weekdays, four weekends, or 15 nights over five weeks.
All of the courses have free email and phone help if you have any questions. In 2019, 938 students did the classroom courses with a 79% pass rate on the state exam, and 318 did the online courses with a 77% pass rate.
4. Continual Learning Institute (CLI)
Located in Nashville, the CLI has been providing Nashville residents with real estate education for over 35 years. You can sign up for in-person courses at their Nashville branch or complete an online or home study course at your own pace. All of their classes are active industry professionals, and they are members of the BBB and Chamber of Commerce.
All materials and books are included in the course fees along with available tutoring and full-service staff. CLI even offers a two-day online accelerated review course, which helps refresh your knowledge before your exam.
The pass rate for CLI in 2019 was 66% out of the 1,205 students that took the classroom state license exam.
