Note: There are additional CE requirements if you are a sponsoring broker; designated broker for a business entity; supervisor of other license holders; or a sales agent made a supervisor by your broker.
If you've been a licensed real estate agent for at least two years you're eligible for our course! If you've only been an agent for one year, you must satisfy Sales Apprentice Education (SAE) requirements - unfortunately, we don't offer this yet!
You'll need to finish your CE requirement by your renewal deadline in order to receive credit and keep your license.
Education providers have 10 days to post your hours into TREC's system. We typically get this done for you well within that time frame. You can check up on your credits at trec.texas.gov
If you miss the deadline and are not under SAE, you have the option to either pay TREC a $200 deferral fee to extend your deadline and license by 60 days OR to renew your license as 'inactive'.
